GO, LU!!!

.....omg!!! LU GOT THIRD!!!!! AND HE DID A PB!!!! (personal best...you know swimmers.. we have so much chlorine in our brains that we have to abbreviate everything.....)
heehee i think i am the fastest to get this news. singapore really sucks! i remember in 1999, they televised every single swimming final LIVE. and it was my number one excuse to stop studying for my stupid primary five exams. haha.
so yes, how did i get this news?
did my pet pigeon fly all the way from los banos, laguna?
or am i having a secret affair with the channel newsasia cameraman assigned to the games?
heeheehee.
nah, the answer lies in: the aunty jane messaging system!
aunty jane aka lu's bu (omg it rhymes! they are meant to be! *bimbo squeal*) and my mother are homies, just like lu and me.
so after (sucky) singapore stopped televising the finals, my mum immediately reached for her handphone and began smsing aunty jane in a frenzy.

YAY FOR LU!
and yay for God!!!
i think....he owes us all a treat! we have been cheering so feverishly in our hearts...our minds...our tagboards....closer friendships have been forged (e.g. i called leo so we could rant about the incapability of the media)....

on another note,
tao li won the 200m back and bern got 4th. defending champion chonlathorn (who has won 100 & 200 back for the past three sea games) was probably placed somewhere in between
which is sad, because she trained with apsc for a while a very long time ago and she was very sweet (and skinny!!)

ANYWAY.
singapore's been doing quite well in the pool, far better than i can say of the singapore cubs lions (meow meow)
so keep it up! and we'll all still be "cheering so feverishly in our hearts...our minds...our tagboards...." haha i just copied and pasted that line. man i am so lazy.

okay now the next thing i should do is to tell you that lu has 200im tmrw!
this is not really his pet event but who cares!
we, his loyal fans, want the best for him, dont we?
so let's pray and hope that he kicks ass tmrw! but not too much, because.. his 400m free on thurs is gonna be absolutely explosive (*bang!bang!bang!* ahahhahaha)

OKAY AND THIS IS ANOTHER LIVE UPDATE!
the 4x200m men's free relay (which lu wasnt a part of but marcus was!) BROKE THE SEA GAMES RECORD!!!
oh boy how cool is thaaaatzzzzzz
that brings our medal tally to 4 golds 1 silver and 2 bronzes tonight!!
