.To Mom.
yes, i know..i'm like a week late..dun lecture me. But it's always better late than never..so call me a big softie - i'm still writing this out. So here goes..a tribute to my mom - the greatest woman in the world.
hey mom..
i guess i never had the chance to say this, but i wanted you to know i love you.
ever since bern and i were young, you were always there. when it was time to go to school, you were there in the car. when it was time to be at the pool, you were there waiting for us. when it was time to study, you were there with the cane in hand and voice all ready to go. when it was time for tuition, you were always in the background making sure every teacher was up to standard. when it was time to go shopping or high tea, you were there with the money and the lecturing voice saying,"dun eat so much ah..fat already." or "don't need to buy so much clothes lah..waste money." and then after that you'd take out the credit card and buy it for us..

you were always there for me. and for that i never said thank you..
when i had arguments with dad you were always the one there to tell me what i did wrong and to apologise..
when i got caught in school for cheating, you were there to hug me and tell me it's okay as i said i was sorry again and again.
when bern and i woke up at 6am early one sunday morning some years ago to cook you breakfast, you were there..at first to strangle us for waking up so early but then you broke into a smile..
when i almost got the Z4 u were there to stop it..and for that it made me a better person.
when i had my accident, u were e one who said,"it's okay..money's not important..what's important is that you are safe and you learn your lesson.."
most of all, you were there for me when it mattered the most.
when i won in Phillipines, you stood there amongst the crowd and clapped for me..and after everything in the midst of all the congratulatory messages, yours brought the lump to my throat..
"when i saw you standing on the podium..i was so proud."
for everything that you have done for me, i say thank you.
for everything that you have done to make me what i am,
I love you.
Happy Belated Mother's Day, bu.
