Today, the lesson from church was simple as it was effective.

..so yesterday 2 inquisitive fools trudged down spring st to Hotel Windsor for an afternoon of tea and finger sandwiches, accompanied by gossip and bitching (well not so much the latter as the former)..

the place. grand ballroom (which was really quite grand save for the overwhelmingly large number of old people around us).

the food (which was not too bad and 'rawther nawce'). lotsa lotsa cakes. omgah. how the english can eat that every week is beyond me.

havent had high tea or buffet (or "ba-ffay", as our waiter had said it. i'm sorry i just can't help myself. haha) for quite awhile. made me miss the family's sunday high teaat mandarin - which was not so much english tea as it was fried beehoon and laksa and piling one's plate as high as one can. heh.

oh right, and the 2 fools.
